Instructions
Prepare the stale bread
Break the stale bread into small pieces and soak briefly in water, then squeeze out excess moisture.
Prepare the herbs and seasonings
Finely chop mint, parsley, chives and their flowers. Combine with garlic powder, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Mix all ingredients
Combine soaked bread, cooked spinach, vegetarian ground meat, plant-based egg alternative, grated cheese and all seasonings. Mix thoroughly until a uniform mixture forms.
Shape the fritters
Form the mixture into 14 small round patties, approximately 4-5 cm in diameter.
Heat the frying oil
Heat peanut oil in a deep pan or wok to 175-180°C for frying.
Fry the fritters
Fry the patties in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Best served immediately while hot and crispy. Reheat in oven to restore crispiness rather than microwave.
