Instructions
Prepare the pastry
Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut into 8 equal rectangles.
Add Nutella
Spread a generous layer of Nutella on 4 of the rectangles, leaving a small border around the edges.
Assemble waffles
Place the remaining 4 rectangles on top of the Nutella-covered ones and press the edges together with a fork to seal.
Brush with egg wash
Beat the egg and brush the tops of each pastry parcel for a golden finish.
Cook in waffle iron
Preheat the waffle iron and cook each pastry for 4-5 minutes until golden and crisp.
Serve
Remove from the waffle iron and serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar.
