Instructions
Brown the butter
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it foams and browns, about 5-7 minutes.
Mix wet ingredients
Transfer browned butter to a bowl and let cool slightly. Whisk in brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
Mix dry ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Combine wet and dry
Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Chill dough
Cover and chill dough for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight for best texture.
Scoop cookies
Preheat oven to 175°C. Scoop dough into balls and place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake

Cool
