Filet Mignon Buldak Ramen

Steak
Filet mignon (raw)
400 g
Butter (room_temperature)

Ramen
Buldak ramen noodles (dry)
2 packs
Buldak sauce
2 packs
Ramen seasoning packet
2 packs
Mayonnaise
75 g
Garlic (minced)
20 g
Egg yolk
3 pcs
Chili oil
30 ml
Instructions
Season and smoke the steak
Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper. Smoke at 93°C until the internal temperature reaches 49°C.
Sear and baste the steak
Sear the smoked steak in a hot pan, basting with butter until a crust forms. Rest the steak before slicing.
Cook the noodles
Boil the ramen noodles according to package directions. Reserve 60 ml of the cooking water.
Make the sauce
Mix Buldak sauce packets, seasoning packets, mayonnaise, minced garlic, and egg yolks. Stir in reserved noodle water until creamy.
Combine noodles with sauce
Toss the cooked noodles in the sauce. Drizzle with chili oil and toss again.
Serve
Plate the noodles, top with sliced steak, and finish with extra chili oil.
