Oreo Tiramisu
Ingredients
Base
Oreo cookies (whole)
24 piece
Cream filling
Mascarpone cheese (room_temperature)
500 g
Heavy cream (cold)
250 ml
Granulated sugar
80 g
Vanilla extract
5 ml
Soaking liquid
Espresso or strong coffee (cooled)
200 ml
Coffee liqueur
30 ml
Topping
Cocoa powder
20 g
Instructions
Prepare soaking liquid
Brew espresso or strong coffee and let it cool to room temperature. Optionally mix in coffee liqueur.
Whip the cream filling
In a large bowl, beat mascarpone, heavy cream, sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Assemble the tiramisu
Dip Oreo cookies briefly in the coffee mixture and arrange in a single layer in a baking dish. Spread half of the cream filling over the cookies. Repeat with another layer of dipped cookies and remaining cream.
Chill the dessert
Dust the top with cocoa powder, cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serve
Cut into portions and serve chilled.
