Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

espresso powder

Instructions
Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet
Preheat oven to 175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl mix flour, baking soda, espresso powder and salt, set aside.
Cream butter and sugars
In a separate bowl add melted butter. Mix in brown and granulated sugar. Whisk for 1-2 minutes until it turns into paste.
Add egg and vanilla
Crack in the egg and vanilla mix until combine.
Combine wet and dry ingredients
Combine dry ingredients into the wet batter and gently fold in until just combined. Add chocolate chips and mix with spatula. Do not over mix the batter.
Scoop and freeze cookies
Scoop out 9 cookies onto the parchment paper. Freeze for 30 min.
Bake cookies
Place not more than 4 cookies on a 15*10 baking tray. As they spread while baking. Bake for 11-12 minutes.
Cool and finish
They should come out golden and crispy from the edges and gooey from the center. Sprinkle with sea salt and allow them to cool completely before serving.
