Instructions
Brown the butter
Cook butter in a light-colored pan until it turns golden and releases a nutty aroma.
Cream sugars with browned butter
Mix browned butter with both sugars until smooth and glossy.
Add egg and vanilla
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
Combine dry ingredients
Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together, then fold into wet mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips
Gently fold chocolate chips into the dough until evenly distributed.
Shape cookie fries
Roll dough into thin logs about 10 cm long and 1 cm thick; arrange on lined baking sheet.
Bake
Bake until edges are crisp and centers remain soft and gooey.
