One Pot Cheesy Sausage Pasta

Instructions
Fry the sausage
Heat oil in a pan, slice the sausage and fry in the oil. Add chopped onions and pressed garlic and sauté briefly.
Cook the pasta
Add 300 ml chicken broth, milk or cream, tomatoes and pasta, stir everything and simmer on low heat with lid closed for 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally and add remaining broth if needed.
Add cheese
When the pasta is almost done, stir in 50 g cheese and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, cover and let rest a few more minutes.
Serve
Chop the spring onions. Arrange the pasta on plates and garnish with spring onions.
Storage
Best eaten fresh. Reheat with a splash of milk to restore creaminess.
