Instructions
Activate the yeast
Combine warm water and honey in a bowl, sprinkle yeast on top and let it activate.
Prepare the dry ingredients
Mix bread flour, salt, and dried parsley in a large bowl.
Form the dough
Combine wet and dry ingredients, gradually adding olive oil while mixing.
Knead the dough
Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
First rise
Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 45 minutes.
Shape the knots
Divide dough into 6 pieces, roll each into a log, and tie into knots.
Second rise
Cover shaped knots and let rest for 15 minutes.
Bake the garlic knots
Brush with melted butter and bake at 204°C for 18 minutes until golden.
Prepare garlic oil
While knots bake, mix all garlic oil ingredients together in a bowl.
Coat the garlic knots
Dip freshly baked knots completely in garlic oil while still hot.
Prepare chicken cutlets
Slice chicken breast into 6 thin cutlets and set up breading station.
Bread the chicken
Coat each cutlet in seasoned flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
Fry the chicken
Fry breaded cutlets in olive oil over medium heat for 3 minutes per side.
Start the Alfredo sauce
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat and cook garlic until fragrant.
Finish the Alfredo sauce
Add cream, reduce heat to low, then stir in cheeses until melted and smooth.
Assemble sandwiches
Split garlic knots, add fried chicken cutlets, and drizzle with Alfredo sauce.
