Instructions
Season the shrimp
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
Sear the shrimp
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and sear seasoned shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
Sauté garlic and tomatoes
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium and sauté minced garlic with sun-dried tomatoes for 1 minute until fragrant.
Create the creamy sauce
Add chicken broth, heavy cream, and parmesan to the pan. Stir and simmer until sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
Combine pasta and shrimp
Add cooked pasta and seared shrimp back to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly and heat through for 1-2 minutes.
Finish and serve
Remove from heat, stir in fresh basil and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately garnished with extra parmesan.
Storage
Best enjoyed fresh. Sauce may separate when reheated.
