Spaghetti Bolognese

Instructions
Prepare vegetables
Finely dice the onion, grate the carrot, dice the celery and mince the garlic.
Sauté aromatics
Heat olive oil in a pan, add onion, carrot, celery and garlic and cook until softened.
Brown the meat
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking up lumps with a spoon.
Simmer the sauce
Pour in tomato sauce, season and simmer gently until thickened.
Cook the pasta
Cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.
Combine and serve
Drain pasta, toss with Bolognese sauce and serve with grated Parmesan.
