Instructions
Prepare the special sauce
Mix ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, gherkin juice, sliced gherkins and diced onions together in a small bowl to create the signature Big Mac sauce.
Form and season the patties
Divide the beef mince into two equal portions and flatten each into thin patties. Season both sides with salt and garlic powder.
Cook the patties
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the patties for 2 minutes on the first side. Flip, add cheese on top and cook for another 2 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.
Toast the buns
Place the burger bun halves cut-side down in the same hot pan and toast for 1-2 minutes until golden and slightly crisp.
Assemble the burger
Build your Big Mac fakeaway: bottom bun, special sauce, lettuce, cheese-topped patty, more sauce, second patty, gherkins, and top bun.
