Microwave Cinnamon Roll
Ingredients
Dough
all-purpose flour
4 tbsp
baking powder
0.25 tsp
salt
1 pinch
milk
2 tbsp
butter
1 tbsp
granulated sugar
1.5 tbsp
Filling
butter
1 tbsp
brown sugar
1.5 tbsp
ground cinnamon
0.5 tsp
Glaze
powdered sugar
2 tbsp
milk
1 tsp
Instructions
Mix dry ingredients
In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add wet ingredients
Add milk and 1 tbsp butter to the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
Roll out the dough
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a thin rectangle about 15x10 cm.
Spread the filling
Spread the remaining 1 tbsp butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll up the dough
Starting from the long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log and slice into 2-3 pieces if desired.
Microwave the roll
Place the roll(s) in the bowl and microwave on high for 60-90 seconds until cooked through.
Prepare the glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
Glaze and serve
Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon roll and enjoy immediately.
