Easy General Tso's Chicken
Crispy chicken pieces coated in a thick, sweet-savory sauce with just the right touch of spice, served over ramen noodles for a satisfying homemade takeout classic.

Instructions
Prepare the chicken
Cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces and coat with cornstarch.
Make the sauce
Stir together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes.
Cook the ramen
Prepare ramen noodles according to package directions without using the seasoning packets, then drain.
Fry the chicken
Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Shake off excess cornstarch and add chicken to hot oil. Cook until browned on all sides and cooked through.
Thicken the sauce
Add sauce ingredients to pan. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, and cook until sauce has thickened.
Combine and serve
Return chicken to pan and coat in sauce. Add cooked ramen and toss to coat. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
