Hot Honey Caramelised Onion Smash Burgers

5% lean mince meat (raw)
300 g
brioche burger buns

onion

honey
2 tbsp
chilli flakes

large potatoes

chipotle mayonnaise
4 tbsp
shredded lettuce (shredded)

cheese slices

Instructions
Caramelise the onions
Slice the onion and fry in oiled pan until soft and browned. Add honey and chilli flakes, then continue cooking until completely caramelised.
Prepare and cook the smash burgers
Season mince with salt and pepper, divide into 4 portions. Smash each portion thin and fry until cooked through and browned.
Cook the chips
Chop potatoes into chips, coat with oil, salt and pepper. Air fry until golden and crispy.
Assemble and warm the burgers
Toast the buns, layer with chipotle mayo, lettuce, smash burger, caramelised onions and cheese. Wrap in foil and warm briefly in the air fryer.
