Instructions
Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Cut the potatoes
Slice the potatoes in half widthwise, then into quarters, then slice again into smaller pieces.
Season the potatoes
In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sea salt and black pepper until evenly coated.
Crisp on the stovetop
Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the potatoes and crisp for about 6 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Bake in the oven
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the potatoes are extra crispy.
Serve
Serve warm with scrambled eggs, bacon, or any breakfast sides you like.
