Easy Candied Grapes

Fresh grapes are coated in a shimmering candy shell for a fun, colorful treat. They’re sweet, juicy, and perfect for serving chilled as a snack or party dessert.

light corn syrup

Instructions
Prepare the grapes
Wash the grapes, remove them from the stems, and dry them very thoroughly so the candy coating will stick.
Cook the candy syrup
Combine the sugar, corn syrup, and water in a pot and cook until the mixture reaches the hard-crack stage.
Color and coat
Remove the syrup from the heat, stir in food coloring if using, then quickly dip or drizzle over the grapes and transfer them to parchment to set.
Storage
Store in a single layer in an airtight container with parchment between layers. Best eaten the same day for the crispiest shell.
