Gratinated Tuna Pasta

Instructions
Prepare ingredients
Peel and finely chop onion and garlic. Drain tuna well.
Cook pasta
Bring large pot of salted water to boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
Sauté vegetables
While pasta cooks, heat 1 tbsp oil in pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened and golden, about 3-4 minutes.
Make tuna sauce
Add drained tuna and tomato sauce to pan with vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Make béchamel sauce
In separate pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk for 1 minute. Gradually add milk while whisking constantly. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Assemble gratin
Drain cooked pasta and mix with tuna sauce. Transfer to baking dish. Pour béchamel sauce over top and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Bake until golden
Bake in preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
