Slice the onion and tomato, wash and dry lettuce leaves.

Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and form into patties. Season with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until desired doneness. Add cheese during the last minute to melt.
