Tuna Mayonnaise Penne Salad
A simple creamy pasta salad with tuna, ready in minutes.
This is a quick, creamy tuna pasta dish made with penne and mayonnaise, with a savory, satisfying flavor. It works well as a light meal or a chilled pasta salad.
Equipment
Ingredients
Ingredients
penne rigate (dry)
200 g
canned tuna (drained)
2 cans
mayonnaise
80 g
salt
1 tsp
water (for boiling)
2000 ml
Instructions
Boil the pasta
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne until just tender.
Drain and cool
Drain the pasta well, then let it cool slightly so the mayonnaise does not separate.
Mix the tuna and mayonnaise
Combine the drained tuna with mayonnaise in a bowl until evenly coated.
Combine and serve
Fold the pasta into the tuna mayonnaise mixture and serve immediately, or chill briefly for a colder pasta salad.
Storage
Best eaten fresh or within 24 hours if using mayonnaise. Keep refrigerated in a sealed container.
