dark chocolate (halved)

Instructions
Brown the butter
Brown the butter until golden and nutty.
Build the cookie dough
Add sugars to browned butter and whisk until smooth and glossy.
Add wet ingredients
Whisk in egg, heavy cream, and vanilla.
Incorporate dry ingredients
Mix in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips until just combined.
Chill the dough
Cover and refrigerate dough for 20-30 minutes.
Prepare the filling
Freeze Reese's cups for 15-20 minutes and halve the chocolate pieces.
Assemble the cookies
Flatten dough, add Reese's cup and chocolate, wrap completely, and form tall balls.
Chill assembled cookies
Refrigerate assembled cookies for 10-15 minutes.
Bake the cookies
Bake at 190°C for 11-12 minutes until edges are golden.
Create chocolate shell bottom
Dip bottoms of cooled cookies in melted dark chocolate and let harden.
