Instructions
Prepare the chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Sear the chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
Sauté the garlic and sun-dried tomatoes
Remove the chicken from the pan. In the same pan, add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Make the creamy sauce
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir in the parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
Return chicken and finish cooking
Return the chicken to the pan. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
Garnish and serve
Remove from heat. Garnish with chopped fresh basil and serve hot.
