Ingredients

Main Ingredients

pork ribs (raw)

1.5 kg

olive oil (liquid)

30 ml

garlic (minced)

4 cloves

salt

10 g

black pepper (ground)

5 g

Instructions

1

Prepare the ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

10 min
Removing the membrane ensures the ribs will be tender and fall off the bone
2

Season the ribs

Rub the ribs with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

5 min
Make sure the seasoning covers all surfaces evenly
3

Wrap in foil

Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil to create a sealed packet.

5 min
Double wrap to prevent any steam from escaping during cooking
4

Bake the ribs

Place the foil-wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake at 150°C for 3 hours until the meat is fall-off-the-bone tender.

The low and slow temperature breaks down the connective tissue for maximum tenderness
5

Rest and serve

Remove from oven, carefully open the foil, and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

10 min
Resting allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat
