Instructions
Slice the potatoes
Slice the potatoes thinly and arrange them evenly in the baking dish.
Prepare the cream mixture
Mix the milk, cream, garlic, and butter in a pot, season with thyme, salt, bay leaf and black pepper, then place over the heat.
Assemble the gratin
Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes, then cover the dish with parchment paper first, followed by aluminum foil.
Bake the gratin
Place it in the oven at 200°C for 1h30min.
Finish with cheese
Once cooked, top with shredded cheese and return it to the oven until melted, then take it out.
