Prepare the chicken

Cut chicken breasts into even strips about 2 cm wide.

Prepare breading station

Mix flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper in one bowl. Beat eggs with buttermilk in second bowl. Place panko in third bowl.

Keep one hand for wet ingredients and one for dry to avoid clumping

Coat the chicken

Dip each chicken strip first in flour mixture, then egg wash, then panko, pressing to coat well.

Heat oil to 175°C and fry chicken in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
