Instructions
Prepare marinade
Combine pickle juice, milk, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder and chili flakes in a bowl.
Marinate chicken
Place chicken pieces in the marinade and let sit in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Prepare dredge stations
Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed corn flakes.
Coat chicken
Dredge marinated chicken pieces first in flour, then egg, then crushed corn flakes, pressing to coat well.
Fry chicken
Deep fry coated chicken at 175°C for 4–6 minutes until golden and crispy.
Make BBQ honey sauce
Warm honey and barbecue sauce together in a small pan or microwave until combined.
Toss chicken in sauce
Immediately toss hot fried chicken in the warm BBQ honey sauce until evenly coated.
Serve
Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
