Instructions
Prepare Ingredients
Slice vegetables and prepare all toppings before cooking burgers.
Form Burger Patties
Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and gently form into patties without overworking the meat.
Toast the Buns
Lightly butter the buns and toast them on a hot pan or griddle until golden brown.
Cook the Patties
Cook patties on a hot griddle or cast iron pan, seasoning generously with salt and pepper. Flip once and add cheese during the last minute.
Assemble the Burgers
Spread mayo, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom bun. Add lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and the cooked patty with melted cheese. Top with the other half of the bun.
